Teaching Objective of the Course:
This course introduces the basics of international commercial contracts, including contract provisions, Incoterms 2010, and mainly about terms of payment. As documentary credit is a kind of unique and technical instrument of payment and finance, which is commonly used in international transaction, this course is trying to give the students a whole picture of documentary credit, including parties, procedures, kinds, issuance, amendment, presentation, examination, settlement, refusal, documents, and their applicable rules – UCP600.
