Course Overview:

This course is designed to gradually improve the students’ overall English conversation skills, in a learn-by-doing method. As such, most of the class time should be student-focused, allowing the students maximum opportunity to practice. Situations range from role-play dialogue and group discussions, to debates, speeches, etc.

Course Objective:

1. Increase students’ confidence & comfort when speaking English

2. Improve students’ overall pronunciation, fluency & intonation

3. Increase students’ vocabulary and and range of expression

4. Begin to prepare students for speaking sections of the IELTS or CET exams.

5. Students should be able to express more clearly their opinions & ideas on a variety of topics

6. Students should be able to converse appropriately in a variety of situations, formal and casual
